We slipped out of town for a quick weekend getaway. Where to? Port Aransas, of course! And we took our hospital bags with us, just in case! We are now officially ready to be parents… if anyone could ever really be ready! =)

Yes! We made it home!! One month later!

Just kidding… Everything is going well! We had a quick four-day trip to Cancun and really enjoyed the opportunity to unlax and rewind. We’re back and suddenly overwhelmed taking care of everything that needs to be taken care of between now and then. And we all know what then is. See you soon!

We got some video of a strange creature during our Port Aransas vacation a few weeks ago. We didn’t even know that we had captured it on video until we were watching it last night and saw the creature run past. Kristin’s Dad, who is a bit of an expert on the area and its native wildlife, seems to think it might be an Oompa Loompa…
